Phew. Just turned in the 'new and improved' version of THE METROPOLIS CASE (see sidebar for more info, if u don't know 'wtf' I'm talking abt).
Feel excited/worried/nervous/hopeful/sick/exhilarated. Can't believe I've been working on this book for almost 10 yrs. When I started, the two main characters were 41, s000 much older than I was -- and now we're all the same age. Sometimes like 2 think that I 'predicted' my own life in this novel, or maybe it's that I predicted my past (via Richard Rorty). Hope I don't have 2 'revise the shit out of it' 2 much more.
N e way, shld have a lil more time for living blogging again. Might start a band/film studio/cat-rescue society. Might sell some drugz 4 a while 2 make some 'mad cash' and move 2 'the estate section of Riverdale' (via Weeds).
Today is the first day of the rest of ur/my life//let's hope we're all 'in bloom.'
"He's the one who likes all our pretty songs
And he likes to sing along and he likes to shoot his gun
But he knows not what it means
Knows not what it means and I say, yeah"
--Kurt Cobain (RIP)

Mazel tov, and happy 'independence.' Major accomplishment, indeed.
